Alberobello, a small town famous for its Trulli,(buildings made entirely of stone that really make the characteristic landscape) is part of ITRIA valley and is a World Heritage Site of UNESCO from 1996.
Walking in the streets of Alberobello surrounded by these buildings original and unique,is an amazing experience !
Very interesting are handicraft products :manufacture of iron ,baskets made of olive wood and production of the typical wine and oil.
Very famous is also the gastronomic with the production of typical local specialties such as sweet almond, pettole, cartellate and macaroons. Also the locals are known for their skill in textile :you can purchase linen garments in the shops located between the trulli.
